Finest Parsi & Irani restaurant | Zazie Bistro & Grill | NaviMumbai

Zazie Bistro & Grill is one of the most amazing restaurants I have come across Navi Mumbai. This place serves the most authentic Iranian and Parsi food which is rarely available and its authenticity is fading from the restaurants.

There are few places like Britannia & Company @ Fort, Soda Bottle Opener Wala @ BKC, which serves the authentic Parsi food, in which these newbie Zazie stands tall shoulder to shoulder.

This place is located at Satara Plaza (Vashi), finding this restaurant is bit confusing but as you can say jewels are really hard to find, this restaurant is truly a jewel of Navi Mumbai, they have kept the taste & authenticity of Parsi dishes to its optimum quality.


As you enter this restaurant, you will just feel like home as the decor is well lit and catchy all the art, interiors, ambience is just amazing you can feel the warmth inside.

Mr. Amit Verma

Mr. Amit Verma is one of the most soft-spoken down to earth person I have met, he talks about the restaurant " It's the brainchild a setup which came from Mr. Adheesh Parelkar and Ms. Supriee Waliya (Owners)".

Their love towards the Parsi food and the one thing which was lagging across Navi-Mumbai which encouraged them to make their dream into reality.

Restaurant opened in August 2017, consisting of two main chefs one is the executive chef Mr. Rahul Bhatt (handles the Indian and subcontinental dishes) and second in order Mr. Shreekant Naidu (handles the Continental dishes).

Being a chef is always a very challenging job, same goes with Mr. Rahul, his expertise is in Indian category, but apart from that he was asked to cook the Parsi and Irani dishes which was a very difficult task, so to overcome all the hurdles and challenges, Mr. Rahul struggled hard by visiting the most famous Parsi restaurants in town, meeting with the parsi chefs and learning the authenticity and maintaining it, finally he is now very much confident in what he serves.

Maintaining the authenticity is very important specially in Parsi food which has a very specific taste where small bit experimentation with the ingredients, taste can change dramatically. So he ensures to maintain it.


The following are the dishes we served.


#Fish tikka sizzler

Fish tikka sizzler

Juicy fish pieces marinated in hot spices makes this non-veg Indian recipe popular among fish lovers. It had a perfect blent of creaminess and spices, very well cooked and nicely presented.

Fish corn fitters

It had a very nice crispy taste of the corn mixed, coated with egg and all purpose flour which perfectly balanced the fish flavour.


#Chicken Farcha

This is an authentic Parsi food which was very well-cooked chicken and tasted well.


#Ortolana Pizza -

Ortolana Pizza

This is an Italian pizza with thin crust, it toppings were of eggplant, bell peppers with cheese, had a good taste just the crust at the edges were hard.

#Fish Steak

This was the most lip smaking dish of all, the fish steak was very well prepared and was served with mashed potatoes and parsley rice.

#Custard caramel

Hogging ended with this beautiful custard caramel which left me with the best memories of Zazie.
