#foodiefat: Tanatan is a profound gong which speaks through its ambience, food, service a very well nurtured restaurant with one vision to beat in everyone's cognizance in terms of a distinct eatery.
Its located at Juhu easily reachable, it has one of the best entrances loved the automatic door with a warm greet.
Note - Valet parking is available
Once you enter you will be amazed at the decor, it has so significant minute details it's like a monument need to look closely amidst the exquisite design, as it as so lovely innovative painting.
Innovative as you can find "Michael Jackson" in Maharaja Attire you will just love it and laugh, to my personal favorite "Angelina Jolie", Iconic "Monalisa", funny cat and dogs dressed in human attire and many more just take a tour around.
More about ambiance there are famous movie dialogues written all over, and to my count and asked the manager there are total "51 dialogues" written, yea I think they should keep a competition to find all those, and trust me they are perfectly synced to the ambiance.
They have private seating arrangement too for around 6-7 people closed room with personal Television.
The best thing about Tanatan which makes it really unprecedented and I liked the most is that besides the dining area they had their whole kitchen visible to all the customers enclosed between the glass walls so you can clearly discern what's operating inside the kitchen, all the chefs and the master chef working inside were so happy and calm, which you can remark through their quality food gustation and presentation.
With amazing food, they have live concerts too, famous bands across come to perform, its a whole package of entertainment.
I can go on and on with the ambiance it's so worth it, I will strongly recommend all if you really want to go for the ambiance so visit at the lunchtime as you will get ample space to move around.

#Tarbooz without Booz

Fresh watermelon juice with two small scoops of watermelon skewered + Mojito Mint + muddled star anise well presented, basic drink, just the thing watermelon scoops had seeds if they were removed and served would have been much better - 3.5/5
#Thanda Theeka

It's a fusion of sweet and spicy, drink consists of Agave Syrup + Squeezed orange + Pepper + a hint of Green Chilli, so pepper and chili give it a spicy kick where agave syrup milds it a bit with its sweet nature. 3/5
SOUP
#Crispy Jheenga Tempura in a Curry Leaf Lemongrass Broth

One of the smartest soup ever had smart because with its live presentation makes it a must try. Palate consists of a Jumbo Crispy Fried Prawn skewered with cucumber so it can hold on and comes with lemongrass broth poured on top of it, the broth had a very unique taste have it while its hot as it will taste bland later, overall it had loved the entire presentation and taste - 4/5
#Murgh Shorba

A very creamy and rich potency shorba had a very smooth textured with an aroma which will make you crave, you will find diced chicken solids at the bottom, with full of flavors makes it a must try palate. 5/5
SALAD
# Pulled Tandoori Murgi Pappadum Salad

It was a fulsome salad comprising of pineapple cuts, leafy vegetable + carrot cuts + Tandoored Chicken bits whole lot tossed in olive oil and served with rolled papad, it was a palate tried for the first time, average one - 3.5/5
#Makai and Sprout ki Chaat

Sprouts and sweet corn mixed with chat masala and spice, it had a very strong and spicy taste were not able to have it much, should lower a spice. 4/5
Till this everything was average except for the soup then we ordered for the appetizers, which is the thing to look for, loved each bit of it, so tight as we proceed towards the appetisers.
APPETIZERS
#Mirza Sahab ke Gosht ke Kebab

A very strong flavored kebab, to get through it you need to have a very good taste for meat, raw Lamb Meat kebab skewered with traditional spices gives it a very aromatic kick, loved it - 4.5/5
#Bhuna Chaap

A very traditional way of getting this done Lamb Mutton Chops slow roasted in a pot and later on finished on an iron griddle, were nicely marinated flavors intact, good size chops, just the looks makes you carve for it, meat was very subtle and perfectly cooked. Note - Suggestion, don't get sophisticated by eating chops with knife and fork just hold them and take a good bite then only you will truly enjoy this palate, Strongly Recommended - 5/5
#Bombil Sandwich

It 's a chef special delicacy, stuffed bombil or here it is called bombil sandwich, fresh bombil stuffed with prawns, mushroom, mint chutney and spices assembled together and crispy fried, I am a bombil lover so was expected much more as it's a chef special, but it seemed very regular, also it was a bit salty. - 3.5/5
#Tanatan Masala Fry (Pomfret)

This was a palate you can count on, fresh big size pomfret perfectly tandoored with all the tenderness and juices of pomfret intact, after tandoor, it is dressed in masala gravy + curry leave and spices, strongly recommend to try - 5/5
#Kohzi Ghee Roast

Yeaaah, a very rich palate, tender boneless Mangalorean styled chicken cooked and dressed with spices, cashews, curry leaves and a decent amount of ghee, you can feel the taste in every bite, we had it with neer dosa.- 5/5.
#Khow Suey Samosa

A chef recommended palate, khow suey given a different perceptive deconstructed and served in shot glasses very well curated. It,s very smooth to taste 4.5/5.
MAINS
#Dilli ki Galiyon Se

It's a wholesome meal beautifully presented with creamy textured and perfectly done butter chicken a very basic palate but very nicely done, Dal Bukhara a traditional way of making dal was worth a try loved it and sided with laccha paratha which was very soft. 5/5
#Mangalorean Fish Curry (RAWAS)

A very creamy and smooth rich textured and taste Mangalorean curry with tender rawas fish cubes dipped sided with paratha, tasted really well - 5/5
DESSERTS
#Mango Coconut Magic

Loved this fusion, a very well presented dessert, it was served with coconut shell stuffed with mango bits, coconut bits, vanilla ice cream, very basic done but loved the overall fusion. Note - It's for limited seasonal palate so head fast to have it.
#Chocolate Hazelnut Fondant with Vanilla Icecream

Perfectly In-house baked chocolate fondant sided with vanilla ice-cream, the best way to end your beautiful meal.
Things to look for - Ambiance just mesmerizing - Valet parking available - Fire Exit - Friendly staff - Fresh and innovative pieces of stuff
